It's official

Today, I registered for the Chicago Marathon. My official training begins in a few weeks. I came across an 18 week training program for absolute beginners. (That's me!) My goal is to finish the marathon in four hours.

I keep imagaining what it will be like crossing the finish line... I bet it is an incredible experience. I can't wait!

There is a lot of research to do. What should I eat? How many calories a day? Can I still weight train and do other sports?

I'm looking forward to finding these answers. It's all part of the fun of the journey!
