My husband and I decided last night to run the Chicago Marathon on Columbus day weekend! My husband got me into running last year and it changed me. I got in shape rather quickly and the physical and mental benefits are vast.
Last summer, we did a challenging hike in Norway and I didn't feel like an asthmatic. This was huge because I had been having trouble with hills. I thought I had exercise induced asthma- turns out, I was just out of shape.
Training should start as soon as possible. I just need to settle on a schedule. Does anyone have any advice?
