The Importance of Strength Training

Strength training is an important part of any exercise routine. It is important to lift at least a moderate amount of weight 2-3 times per week. Those who want to build a lot of lean muscle should focus on their workouts and train differently than those who just want to enhance their health.

One thing to make sure of is that you continue to challenge yourself. This is a good rule of thumb regardless of what your goal is.
